How the Democrats Differ

Four Democrats want to represent greater Salt Lake City in a new seat in the U.S. Congress. So, how do they differ on key issues like data centers? [City Cast Salt Lake 🎧]

A Smaller Data Center

Following a letter from Senate President Stuart Adams, Kevin O’Leary agreed to shrink the proposed Box Elder County data center project by 75%, removing nearly 20,000 acres, and dedicating water to the Great Salt Lake. [ABC4]

Viral Lego Drama

A dispute over a Lego collection reportedly worth up to $200,000 has gone viral, with YouTuber Reckless Ben accusing American Fork’s Bricks & Minifigs of keeping a family’s consigned collection without paying them. What began as a disagreement over missing legos has since escalated into lawsuits, police involvement, and criminal charges. [KSL]

Downtown’s Convention Pause

The Salt Palace Convention Center will close for roughly three years starting in fall 2027 for major renovations tied to downtown redevelopment plans. One big change: FanX, Salt Lake’s annual comic convention, will relocate to Mountain America Expo Center in Sandy. [FOX 13]
