What's CITY Talking About
Data Center Referendum Petitions
A group of Box Elder County residents want to force a referendum on the county commission’s vote to allow a 40,000 acre data center in Utah. If the referendum petitions are approved, residents must then gather a certain number of signatures in order to force a public vote on the commission’s decision. [KUTV]

Utah Jazz Get No. 2 Draft Pick
Thanks to questionable “tanking” practices and a lucky lottery win, Utah Jazz basketball will get the No. 2 overall pick in this year’s NBA draft in June. It’s a sign of hope for beleaguered fans and a coach sick of yelling, “f***ing play harder!” [Salt Lake Tribune]
More Housing in Glendale?
Salt Lake City is reviewing a proposal to rezone single family homes on Van Buren Avenue in the Glendale neighborhood so a developer can build 24 new units as a mix of single family, row, and twin homes. [Building Salt Lake 🔒]
