🌼 Your guide to Salt Lake in April

Bugs 1, Runners 0

The 20th annual Buffalo Run on Antelope Island was canceled after unseasonably warm weather caused biting gnats (“no-see-ums”) to hatch early. While the bugs are temporary, visitors are advised to wear protective clothing. If you stop by, you can spot newborn bison on the island. [KSL]

Step Away From the Baby Bird

If you find a baby bird this spring, it’s usually best to leave it alone. Most are either temporarily out of the nest or their parents are nearby. Only intervene if the bird is in immediate danger, and avoid feeding or taking it home, as that can do more harm than good. [ABC4]
