What's CITY Talking About
New Water Rules Restrict ICE Facility

How do you hear a disappearing Lake?
A striking new artwork by Icelandic-Danish artist Olafur Eliasson, with an electronic soundscape by Grammy-winning producer Koreless, gives voice to the Great Salt Lake in Memory Grove at 9 p.m. every night from March 26 to April 4. Will you be there to hear it?

Salt Lake Chatter

In our recent article on the best pizzas in Salt Lake, we asked: “Do you eat your crusts?” And a lot of you answered with a resounding, “Yes!”
Eat Your Crusts
“We do not leave the ‘pizza bones,’ we eat 'em on any worthy pizza offering. I missed the original poll, but you DO need to try Sergio’s, on 114th just west of The District (in SoJo). It’s the best New York-style pizza in this valley or any other in Utah. Just sayin'.” — Tish R.
“I always eat the cheesy, crispy thick (or thin) crust from the Slice House on Foothill. They have the best slices available, along with full unique pizzas and salads! Not just the pep or the cheese but specialty, like my fav the Tony Jack: bacon, green onions, peppadew peppers, honey, and no sauce. I always pick up a few to bring home. And, in case you did not know, the best way to reheat pizza is in a low heat frying pan with a lid. Thank me later!” — Veda K.
“Yes, ESPECIALLY if I have some honey!” — Megan S.
But Sometimes It Depends
“It really depends. If it’s a thin, crispy Neapolitan pizza or bubbly New York pizza, definitely. If it’s a doughy, spongy pizza from The Pie, no way!” — Pamela S.
