Neighborhood Shoutouts

Every week, City Cast Salt Lake Neighbors spotlight the places and people making our community shine.

📣Amanda C. wants to shout out Habitat for Humanity of Northern Utah, doing great things in Box Elder and Weber Counties. They always need volunteers or shop at the Weber ReStore in Ogden. Affordable housing is on everyone's mind (or should be) and HFHNU has been working for that goal for decades.

📣Elizabeth F. is a huge fan of Lovee's Cakes in Layton. They have the most fantastic cupcakes, but even more so, the most wonderful and inviting environment. They are a Black and woman-owned business, and they are incredibly LGBT friendly in a city that isn't always as welcoming.

Have a neighborhood gem you want to shout from the rooftops? Join City Cast Salt Lake Neighbors to participate.
