Main Street Comeback
Three months after a devastating fire gutted several downtown Salt Lake City restaurants and bars, rebuilding is well underway, with White Horse expected to reopen in early 2026. Whiskey Street is planning a longer, full-scale redesign that may include a rooftop bar. [Gastronomic SLC]
Utah Slopes on Standby
Unseasonably warm weather is delaying ski season in Utah, forcing resorts like Brian Head and Solitude to push back their opening dates. However, cooler temperatures and snow are expected later this week, giving hope that slopes could open by late November. [FOX 13]
Salt Lake Restores Boys & Girls Club
Salt Lake City has partnered with the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salt Lake to restore after-school programs on the west side, moving the YouthCity Fairpark K-6 program into the previously closed Lied Club. [KSL]
