🍪 Martha Stewart x Crumbl
November 5, 2025
Hey, Salt Lake! Sheer Ambrosia just opened a cart at Fashion Place Mall right in time for the holidays, and their baklava is divine. Speaking of gifts, we’re putting together our annual holiday gift guide. Got a favorite local pick we should include? 🎁
What's CITY Talking About
Local Election Results
This year saw four Salt Lake City Council races. As of 11 p.m. Tuesday, incumbent Victoria Petro has a narrow lead in District 1; Chris Wharton appears to have won a third term in District 3; Erika Carlsen is poised to be District 5's new representative; and incumbent Sarah Young wins District 7 unopposed.
Incumbent mayors in cities across Salt Lake County are slated to retain their seats (though things are very close in Bluffdale!), with the exception of Cottonwood Heights, where former Utah legislator Gay Lynn Bennion seems likely to win. Results will be official in two weeks at the final canvass. [State of Utah]
Martha Stewart Crumbl Collab
Crumbl has partnered with the one and only Martha Stewart for a limited-edition dessert box. The seven treats will be available at all Crumbl locations through Nov. 8. [Martha Stewart]

Sugar House Park Hotel
A proposed hotel above Sugar House Park has caused an uproar in the neighborhood. But it’s the third pitch that’s gotten pushback from residents. Here’s what’s next for the lot and what public benefits could be negotiated. [City Cast Salt Lake 🎧]
