Utah Ranks In ‘Worst Quality of Life’
Cool. CNBC’s “Quality of Life” ranking gave Utah an F (87/265 points). The index cites air quality, a $7.25 minimum wage, few worker protections, and being 48th in licensed child care centers. Also, reproductive rights, since data shows it’s influencing where younger workers are willing to live. [CNBC]

New Golf Courses on Tribal Land?
Shivwits Band of Paiutes leaders are considering a land deal just west of St. George with the developers of the swanky Black Desert Golf Course. The joint development on 1,250 acres of tribal land could include a Tiger Woods-designed golf course. [Salt Lake Tribune]
