Downtown SLC Parking Changes

Starting today, downtown SLC is updating its metered parking rules. The hourly rate will increase to $3.50 an hour (previously $2.25), metered parking will now be enforced on Saturdays (previously free on Saturdays), and payment will be required until 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday (previously only until 8 p.m.). After-School Funding at Risk

Nearly 7,000 Utah students are at risk of losing access to after-school and summer programs due to federal funding cuts. Despite the fact that, according to Afterschool Alliance, 85% of Utah parents approve of public funding for these programs. [KSL]
