Good morning, Salt Lakers. This weekend, more than 10,000 people gathered downtown for the “No Kings” protest, joining millions nationwide in defense of democracy. It was a powerful moment of community action that ended in the tragic loss of an innocent protester.

Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall said, “The violence we’ve seen ... in Salt Lake City — and in other parts of the country — is horrific, and it is not who we are.”
