Public-Private Pioneer Park Upgrades
A permanent, year-round farmers market could be coming to Pioneer Park through a partnership between the Downtown Alliance and Salt Lake City. Public Land Sale Denied
Congress has removed a controversial amendment, co-proposed by Utah Rep. Celeste Maloy, from the GOP budget bill that would have authorized the sale of over 10,000 acres of public land in Utah. [KUER]

Residents are outraged by the unexpected demolition of the historic Utah Pickle Company building in Salt Lake City’s Granary District. Despite city-approved permits, many believed the beloved 1884 landmark would be preserved by developers. [FOX 13]
