Salt Lake Chatter

Here’s what Hey Salt Lake readers are chattering about this week.
On Breweries That Allow Outside Food
One thing to note: While these breweries allow outside food, no outside beverages, please!
“Fisher Brewing Company and Thieves Guild Cidery!” — Elisa G.
“RoHa Brewing Project! It's a cute locally-owned brewery off of State Street with cute dogs, nice staff, and great beer. You can bring in your own food, and they also always have a food truck outside!” — Nicole W.
“For sure Kiitos Brewing! I do it a lot.” — Dyani
“TF Brewing and SaltFire Brewing Co. have been excellent BYO places. We’d go to Tacos Garay, pick up some food and go there.” — Rob S.
On Sundance Memories
“I came out to Utah for the 2020 Sundance Film Fest for my birthday. My older sister organized the whole trip. We ran into Matthew Gray Gubler and Will Ferrell that year! I had so much fun at the festival that I moved to Utah a few months later because of it.
"My older sister moved out here with her husband the week of Sundance in 2024, and we went to several showings together that year. She even worked for the festival this past year! Neither of us would be living in Salt Lake right now if it weren’t for Sundance. We’re both really going to miss it, but we’re thankful for the festivals we got to attend together!” — Haley B.
“Only at Sundance can you commiserate with a total stranger about the worst movies you've ever seen that no one has heard of.” — Riana R.
