Teacher Raises, But at What Cost?
Utah Gov. Spencer Cox and state lawmakers announced a $1,446 salary increase for teachers and a $1,000 bonus for education support staff. [KSL]

SLC Airport Sensory Room

Historic Chapel Repurposed
The Other Side Academy is expanding its Salt Lake City campus with a new, 32-unit residential building behind the historic 12th Ward Chapel. The former meetinghouse will be repurposed for education and training programs. [Building Salt Lake]
Why Utah Plates Got Rejected
In 2024, Utah’s DMV rejected over 1,000 vanity license plate applications, with the most common reason being it was already issued. Other denials were due to vulgarity or sexual explicitness. [ABC4]
