Hey Salt Lake reader Jerry S. gave us a heads up on a renter refund program in Utah. The deadline to apply is Dec. 31. Here’s what you need to qualify:

• 66 years of age by Dec. 31 or a widow or widower of any age
• Resided in Utah for the entire calendar year
• Cannot be claimed as a dependent on someone else’s tax return
