Good morning! Fun fact from a Hey Salt Lake reader: Zitkála-Šá (one of Utah’s Indigenous authors) was featured on a new quarter issued by the U.S. Mint. A celebration was held last month in her honor in Salt Lake City, with special remarks by her great-great-grandsons.

Official Closing Date for Redwood Drive-In

SLC’s Whale in Japan
Salt Lake City gifted a miniature replica of our iconic “Out of the Blue” whale sculpture to our sister city, Mastsumoto, Japan. This marks a celebration of a 65-year relationship between the two cities. [KSL]
