Lower-Than-Expected Voter Turnout
Utah’s voter turnout is lagging behind 2020’s record numbers. Last Friday, roughly 38% of ballots were returned compared to 54% at the same time four years ago. Despite this, state officials expect a surge of last-minute ballots, and rural counties are reporting higher-than-average returns. [Utah News Dispatch]
