Good morning! A few weeks ago we shared our many gripes about Salt Lake City, but let’s flip it (and reverse it): What’s your favorite thing about our city or why do you stay here?

What's CITY Talking About?
Condos in Downtown SLC
C.W. Urban plans to build a 16 to 17 story condominium tower in downtown Salt Lake City, marking the first for-sale project in the area in years. It would include owner-occupied condos and ground-floor retail, pending approval by the city. [Building Salt Lake 🔒]

Need Not Apply at the U of U?
A University of Utah pilot program will guarantee admission for about 5,000 students without requiring them to apply. It will be available to students in the Canyons, Granite, Davis, and Provo City school districts with a GPA of 3.5 or higher and specific courses completed. [KUER]
Wild Horse Roundup
The Bureau of Land Management plans to round-up over 400 wild horses in three Utah counties where the population is double the Bureau’s recommendation. The horses will be herded via helicopter to a boarding facility and some will be put up for adoption. [Utah News Dispatch]

Gazing at Mountains in Target Parking Lots
