Utah Supremes Revive a Case
The Utah Supreme Court ruled that a sexual assault lawsuit filed by 94 patients against OB-GYN David Broadbent should not be considered medical malpractice, reviving the case previously dismissed by a lower court. This allows the patients to pursue claims of sexual battery, sexual assault, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. [Salt Lake Tribune]

Where Is It?

No one guessed last week’s “Where Is It?” This art sculpture can be found in the city of Helper. Have you ever visited this small town, located about two hours southeast of Salt Lake City? It’s truly a hidden gem en route to Moab.
Once a coal mining town, it was named “Helper” after the locomotives that aided trains up the steep climb to Soldier Summit. After the mining industry declined, the town turned to the arts to help revitalize their economy.
There’s lots to do and see there. Check out our handy dandy neighborhood guide to Helper.

Next up, we’re continuing with the sculpture theme. Do you know where to find this giant heart covered in things?
