State Defends School Vouchers

Utah Gov. Spencer Cox and Attorney General Sean Reyes are seeking to dismiss a lawsuit challenging the state’s $82 million school voucher program. The Utah Education Association argues that the program, which funds private schooling, is unconstitutional and takes from public school resources. [Salt Lake Tribune]

Mexican Baseball at Smith’s Ballpark

Salt Lake City is hosting two professional baseball teams from Mexico to play exhibition games on Oct. 5 and Oct. 6. The events will include live music and baseball clinics for kids. [Utah News Dispatch]
