New West Side High School Unlikely

For years, Salt Lake City’s Westside families have requested a new high school, but a recent study requested by the Salt Lake City School District suggests it’s unlikely due to declining district enrollment and lack of available space. The report also showed a decrease of 700 high school students over the next decade. [KUER]

The Jell-O company is pitching the name “Utah Green Jell-Os” for the state’s new NHL team. They took to social media to emphasize Utah’s love for the green, jiggly stuff. Afterall, Jell-O is our official state snack. Meanwhile, “Yeti” has emerged as the current favorite in the initial voting round by fans. [FOX 13]
