Mr. Vanessa Hudgens Playing for the Bees

Will “High School Musical” star Vanessa Hudgens come back to SLC? Her husband, Cole Tucker was recently assigned to play for the Salt Lake Bees. Tucker, whose career hasn’t lived up to the hype, was recently signed to the Los Angeles Angels, which resulted in his placement with the Bees, the Angels’ minor league affiliate. [Deseret News]

TRAX S-Line Expansion

The Sugar House streetcar, aka the S-Line, is undergoing expansion with $12 million in state funding. The streetcar will soon extend eastward approximately 900 feet to the intersection of Simpson Ave. and Highland Dr. The line will be double tracked between 500 E. and 700 E. for more frequent service and to reduce delays in the growing neighborhood.
