Marathon Road Closures

SLC’s Officially an NHL City
ICYMI, the Arizona Coyotes are officially moving to Utah after the NHL Board of Governors approved the deal. The team will begin playing next season without a team name. But Yotes fans aren’t thrilled about it. At a recent game, the crowd chanted “Salt Lake Sucks.” But, hey Arizona, this is Ryan Smith’s world and we’re just living in it. [X, formerly Twitter, KUER]

Flavored Vape Ban
A new law in Utah aims to ban flavored electronic cigarettes to curb nicotine use among young people. Additionally, it will restrict the nicotine concentration of any vape product to below 4%. Vape shop owners argued that the law will devastate the nearly 200 vape shops in Utah and drive sales to big tobacco companies. The business owners plan to contest the law in court.
