According to reports by multiple dating apps, polyamory in Utah is on the rise. On Feeld, Salt Lake City profiles with the terms “ethically nonmonogamous” or “polyamorous” doubled in the last three years. Utah has a complicated relationship with polygamy (which was decriminalized in 2020), which may alter people’s perception of polyamory. Polyamory is having more than one romantic or sexual partners. The History of ‘America First’

A group of soccer fans from Raleigh, North Carolina called out the Utah Royals for the team’s jersey sponsor America First Credit Union. They noted on X (formerly known as Twitter) that the term “America First” has a racist history. In response, Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said, “Just when you think this website can’t get any more ridiculous, I had to double-check if this was a parody account.” [KUTV]

New Trax Line

The Utah Transit Authority is considering adding an “Orange” line to Salt Lake City’s TRAX system connecting the University of Utah to the airport. The proposed line would run along North Temple and 400 S. with adjustments made to existing Red, Green, and Blue lines. [ABC 4]
