The Cost of Holiday Lights
Do you ever drive by an extravagant holiday light display and think, “How much is their electric bill?” Well, it’s maybe not as much as you thought. A Grantsville homeowner reported that his 8,000 LED lights added just $20 a month to his bill. Meanwhile, a Syracuse resident said his Yuletide spotlights ran him an extra $168. [Axios]
Jenny Wilson Re-Running for SLCo Mayor
Salt Lake County Mayor Jenny Wilson has officially announced she’s running for reelection next year. Wilson has been in the position since 2019, when she took over the vacant seat left by former Mayor Ben McAdams. Her term ends in 2025. [KSL]
