Speaking of the Rio Grande Plan, this ambitious project aims to help reconnect Salt Lake’s east and west sides. The current rail lines that divide the city make commuting difficult, to say the least. But it’ll cost up to $5 billion to make it happen. [Salt Lake Tribune]
Cell Phone Passcodes
The Utah Supreme Court ruled that individuals will not be required to provide their cell phone passcodes to law enforcement, emphasizing Fifth Amendment rights. However, this ruling will likely not impact law enforcement’s access to Face ID or fingerprints to unlock phones. [FOX 13]
