Why was Ryan Seacrest in Utah?
December 8, 2023
Good morning! Did you know we have a membership program? Not only does it help support our team’s work, it comes with some pretty sweet perks. Recently, we offered a members-only walking tour of Salt Lake City’s Green Loop. And who knows what events we'll hold in the future — movie club, book club, foodie club? 👀
What's CITY Talking About?
West Davis Corridor
Soon, there will be another way to travel north and west through Davis County. The West Davis Corridor will open Jan. 6. It’s one of the Utah Department of Transportation’s largest projects. Construction started back in 2021 on the four-lane, 16-mile highway that starts at Legacy Parkway in Farmington and goes into West Point. [KSL]

Ryan Seacrest in SLC
Ryan Seacrest, known best as the host of “American Idol,” was in Salt Lake City to open “Seacrest Studios” at Primary Children’s Hospital. It offers a creative space for children and features studio mics, green screens, cameras, and media equipment. Other celebrities at the opening included Miles Teller, Andy Grammar, and Zachary Levi. The Governor’s Budget

Funding for housing and homelessness are among the standout items of the $29 billion proposal that the Utah Legislature will consider.
