What's CITY Talking About?
Saving Christmas Street
Christmas Street in Sugar House, a much-loved holiday tradition, is in jeopardy of becoming defunct. Since the ‘40s, residents of Glen Arbor Street have been decking their houses with bright lights and festive displays. But recently, the iconic “Christmas Street” sign broke and their big tree was damaged. The cost of repair and maintenance is getting too expensive, so a fundraiser has been started by neighbors to help keep Christmas Street alive. [KSL]
Great Salt Lake Toxins
Scientists discovered an alarmingly high amount of neurotoxins in samples they took from the dried up lake bed of the Great Salt Lake — higher than they’ve seen so far. These toxins can lead to Alzheimer’s disease and ALS, but can take 10-20 years to manifest. [FOX 13]

Where Is It?

So many of you correctly guessed the location of Bumblebee the Transformer! He’s inside Krua Thai Restaurant near the Salt Lake City Library.
Hey Salt Lake readers said:
“The transformer is at my favorite Thai restaurant in Salt Lake City, Krua Thai Restaurant. And, yes, the transformer actually was one of the reasons we decided to give them a try lol! Glad we did.” — Tawny H.
“Bumblebee of Krua Thai! My wife and I love Krua and love how seemingly out of place, but so perfectly placed, Bumblebee is there.” — Alex B.

Do you know where in Salt Lake this peach/mango/booty(?) statue is? Bonus points if you know what it is.

Host Ali Vallarta asks Sunny Washington, co-founder of Utah Tech Leads and CEO of Seer, if Utahns should be wary of this sector. Plus, she explains why a slump may actually be the best time to raise capital.
