City Creek Canyon Closure
Starting Nov. 1, City Creek Canyon will be closed in order to rebuild the water treatment plant. It’s estimated that the construction project won’t be complete until 2027. Pedestrians and bicyclists are allowed on weekends and holidays, but only up to picnic site #16. No vehicles will be permitted. [Salt Lake City Public Utilities]

Salt Lake Bees’ New Hive
Utah leaders and executives from the Larry H. Miller Company and Los Angeles Angels gathered to break ground on the new ballpark in Daybreak, which will be the home of the Salt Lake Bees. Meanwhile, Salt Lake City is still trying to figure out what’s next for Smith’s Ballpark. [KSL]
