What's CITY Talking About?

SLC’s First Sanctioned Camp

Salt Lake City’s first sanctioned camp for unsheltered people will be a development site called Station Center on the northeast corner of 300 S. and 600 W. It will be modeled after Denver’s SOS (Safe Outdoor Spaces) sites. The details are still being worked out, but people will stay in individual shelters that resemble a tent and a shed. It will have electricity, heating, and air conditioning. There will also be communal bathrooms. [Building Salt Lake]
