Salt Lake's first food truck park
September 12, 2023
Hey, Salt Lake! Question, what’s the earliest date you’ll put up Halloween/fall decorations? Asking for myself because I’m unabashedly that girl.

What's CITY Talking About?

View Comet Nishimura
This week, you may be able to view a comet that hasn’t been seen since the 17th century. Use a telescope for the best views (you can rent one from the library while supplies last), but Comet Nishimura will also be visible with the naked eye. While the comet was closest to Earth this morning, it will be at its brightest on Sunday, Sept. 17. Look toward the east/northeast horizon about a half an hour before morning twilight. The next one won’t come around for another 400 years. [Deseret News]
Food Truck Park
Salt Lake City is getting its very first food truck park. It’ll be on 300 W. in the Ballpark Neighborhood. For food truck fans, the park is a long time coming. But it’s just one of many changes on the horizon for that road. [City Cast Salt Lake 🎧]
