Have you seen the flooded ghost town near Spanish Fork?
August 30, 2023
Good morning! Today we’re talking Spanish Fork and foodie events to look forward to.

What's CITY Talking About?
SLC’s New Food Truck Park
We’re getting a new food truck park in the Ballpark neighborhood. It’ll be called Block Party 300 and will run year-round. Historically, strict regulations have made it hard for food truck parks to flourish here. One big deterrent is that food trucks must be parked overnight at a professional kitchen. But Block Party 300 will be located at the commissary of Granato’s Gourmet Market, so they’ll have a place to prepare food plus ample parking spaces. [Building Salt Lake]
Construction Stinks
Another stretch of construction is coming to Sugar House, and it could get stinky as the city works to replace a 100-year-old sewer line. The next phase of the big project will take place on 2100 S. between Highland Drive and Yuma Street. According to a mailer sent out to residents, there will be “noise, vibrations, odor, and dust.” [Salt Lake Tribune]
