Your favorite hangover meals

Good morning! I don’t know about you, but heading into fall I always want to pick up a new hobby. Do you know any good music teachers? Specifically, bass, or cello, or guitar? Send me an email.

What's CITY Talking About?
Don’t Ditch a Fish
The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources would like to remind you to not ditch your fish. This year, there’s been four instances of illegal introductions. When you dump fish into a lake, stream, or pond, it can put existing species at risk. And usually the only way to remove an unwanted fish is to kill all the fish in the body of water. Mountain Goats
Utah County officials warn pet owners after mountain goats killed three dogs in the last three weeks on Mount Timpanogos. They advise to either keep dogs on a leash at all times or avoid taking them up there all together. Fall is the breeding season for mountain goats, when males can become especially aggressive. [KUTV]
Crying in Public
Salt Lake is about to get an H Mart, the Korean supermarket made famous by the novel “Crying in H Mart.” Which begs the question, where is the best place in this city to cry in public? Buckle in, because your submissions on this one are pretty epic. [City Cast Salt Lake 🎧]

Salt Lake Chatter
This week, Hey Salt Lake readers shared their recs on the tastiest cheese fries, art studios, and where to eat if you’re hungover.
🍟 On Cheese Fries
“Hires Big H! Hands down. The fry to cheese ratio is superb!” — Sarah R.
“The best fries (unsure if you can call them cheese fries) in mine and my husband’s opinion are the parmesan truffle fries at Mid City Grill in Midvale. They are always crisp and they have tons of garlic and red pepper flakes on them! Dip in fry sauce and you have the BEST combo.” — Morgan S.

🖼 On Art Studios
“I have a space above Publik Kitchen on 9th and 9th that I've been curating for multiple uses. It's 800 square feet (approximately 25' x 30'), has temperature control, a shared bathroom, and kitchenette. I'm renting it by the hour or by the day, and I'm also renting it for weekend art and informal gallery stroll shows.” — Missy G.
“Clever Cucumber is a free community art studio on the west side with capacity and tools for different art mediums, including woodworking (if contacted in advance). It's a good option for people who can't afford the fees at the other workshops listed.” — Kate G.
🍗 On Hangover Meals
Editor’s note: Leaving this section anonymous to protect your right to be hungover in peace.
“Publik’s breakfast. Eggs sunny side up, toast no jam and bacon eaten at the counter at 9th and 9th.”
“This is more of a go-to hangover place because everything is delicious. But Garage on Beck is so good! Their chicken fried steak and eggs are to die for, the habanero molasses chicken wings are one of a kind, and they offer a huge variety of ‘hair of the dog’ remedies!”
“IDK if this is what you're looking for BUT I think a smoothie and something fried is the perfect hangover combo. However, I do not know of a place that offers both in SLC, and would love it if someone could recommend a spot.”
Can you help a reader out? Where in Salt Lake can you get a smoothie and something fried?
