Free Fare Days
The Utah Transit Authority has announced free fare days from Aug. 17-18. That means zero fare for all UTA bus and rail services including Trax and FrontRunner. GREENbike is also offering free day passes on these days, just enter the code 8123 in the app. [Twitter]

Old Trolley Line Recovered
An old 1900s trolley line was recovered on State Street during construction. Historically, Salt Lake City had an expansive trolley system. A lot of people moved around the city this way. According to The Lost History of Saltair, this was also the transportation folks would take to get on the Saltair trains from the Rio Grande Depot. [KUTV]
