Salt Lake's best pho

August 11, 2023

Good morning! In today's newsletter, we're talking the best places in Salt Lake for a bowl of pho. Plus, what to do this weekend.

What's CITY Talking About?

Wear Your Sunscreen

As you head outside this weekend, remember to wear your sunscreen. Utah has the highest cases of melanoma in the nation. Since the air is thinner here, that means a greater exposure to UV rays. Experts at the Huntsman Cancer Institute say that people only need about 10-15 minutes per week for proper Vitamin D exposure. [KUER]

Paramore Cancels SLC Show

Paramore has canceled the remaining dates of their tour, which included a stop in Salt Lake City on Aug. 13. Lead singer Hayley Williams took to her Instagram to explain she’s been fighting a lung infection. Ticket holders will be fully refunded. [KUTV]
