What To Do

Eco Arts Festival  🐦 Monday | 5-8 p.m.

Experience Tracy Aviary after hours at the Eco Arts Festival. There will be community partners, conservation education, and local artists selling eco-art. [$5, Liberty Park]

Independence Eve Celebration  🎉 Monday | 8-10 p.m.

Millcreek Common is hosting an Independence Eve Celebration. There will be drones, lights, and acrobatics. [Free, Millcreek]

Riverton Town Days  🎡 Monday & Tuesday | Various Times

Enjoy two full days of events at Riverton Town Days. There will be activities like a cornhole tournament, carnival, movie in the park, mini golf, fireworks, and more! [Prices Vary/Riverton]

Hike to Silver Lake  ⛰ Tuesday | 7-11 a.m.

The Women’s Wine Hiking Society is hiking to Silver Lake. It’ll be about 5 miles round trip and moderate difficulty. [Free, American Fork]

Magna Parade 🍬 Tuesday | Noon

Don’t miss the charming Magna parade on historic Main Street. [Free, Magna]

4th of July at The Gateway  🎶 Tuesday | 6-10 p.m.

There will be live music, karaoke, and yard games at The Gateway. Fireworks start at 10 p.m. [Free, Downtown SLC]

Salt Lake Bees vs. Sacramento River Cats  ⚾️ Tuesday | 6:35 p.m.

Watch the Salt Lake Bees at Smith’s Ballpark before they make the move to Daybreak next season. There will be a postgame fireworks show. [$14+, Ballpark]

Stadium of Fire  🎆 Tuesday | 7-9 p.m.

There are a limited number of tickets left to see the legendary band Journey headlining at Stadium of Fire at Lavell Edwards Stadium. [$37-$267, Provo]

Klypi, Bobo, & Long Dead Bones  🎤 Tuesday | 8 p.m.

Holladay 4th of July  🥞 Tuesday | Various Times

The city of Holladay is hosting morning and evening events for the 4th of July. There will be a bike parade and breakfast in the morning and a concert and fireworks at night. [$5 breakfast, Holladay]

A Game-Changing Idea for Utah Women’s Sports

A proposal to build a women’s sports complex at the soon-to-be-vacant Smith’s Ballpark won over community members during Salt Lake City’s recent Ballpark NEXT competition. Utah Falconz football team president and defensive player Lacy Mile talks with host Ali Vallarta about what having a home field to play at could mean for her team and the trajectory of women’s sports in Utah.
