What's CITY Talking About?
Let Them Do Drag
A judge in St. George ruled in favor of Southern Utah Drag Stars. They filed a lawsuit after the city denied their permit for an all-ages drag show event. Like other places around the country, drag shows are under attack by lawmakers and right-wing extremists who say they aren’t appropriate for children. Earlier this year in Salt Lake, armed Proud Boys protested BesTEAS, a local all-ages drag show. [FOX 13]
Bangerter Highway Expansion
The Utah Department of Transportation wants to expand Bangerter Highway. The proposed project would displace residents in more than 200 homes, mostly in West Valley. Members of the public can submit a formal comment on the plan through July 12. [Salt Lake Tribune]

Utah Jazz TV
The Utah Jazz will air games for free on KJZZ-TV starting this upcoming season. Additionally, they’ll sell a streaming service under their new production company SEG Media, which will give fans access to stream games online. It will also include exclusive behind-the-scenes content. [KUTV]
