New Trax Trains

The Utah Transit Authority will replace 20 of its aging TRAX trains after receiving a $60 million dollar grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation. They’ll prioritize replacing cars with high floorings. These trains pose safety risks especially for those with accessibility needs. [ABC 4]

SLC Synagogue Celebrates 50th Anniversary

Salt Lake City's Kol Ami Synagogue (Utah’s largest synagogue) celebrated its 50th anniversary with a gala at This is the Place Heritage Park. Many of the congregation members are Salt Lake City transplants and in the past five years it has grown 25%. [FOX 13]

Pornhub Blocks Utah

Pornhub has turned off the tap in Utah, citing its contention with a new law requiring age verification of local users. Now, the man who wrote that law, State Sen.
