SLC School District’s New Superintendent
The Salt Lake City School District has announced its new superintendent, Elizabeth Grant. This comes after the previous superintendent, Timothy Gadson III, resigned amid controversy with the board only a year into the job. Cookie Court
The cookie wars rage on and this time they’re going to court. Crumbl sued Dirty Dough and Crave for trademark infringement and over intellectual property. A federal judge will decide whether Dirty Dough will be able to continue franchising. Artist, John Leonard (best known as @mcgettigan_ on the internet) creates cartoon depictions of quirky Salt Lake buildings. Think: the Wendy’s in the Target parking lot on 400 S. He started a Kickstarter to create a Salt Lake coloring book. [Twitter]
