Should We Invest More In SLC’s Parks? You Decide
This election season, SLC residents will crack open their ballots and vote for or against the Salt Lake Parks Bond — an $85 million taxpayer-funded investment in our parks and green spaces. That includes $27 million to convert the old Raging Waters water park on the city’s westside into the Glendale Regional Park. Glendale Neighborhood Council chair Turner Bitton tells host Ali Vallarta why this vote could change how the whole city experiences public spaces.
Voting resources mentioned in this episode:
- Mock-ups of Parks Bond projects
- Figure out the easiest way to vote
- Who are the judges?
- Fox 13’s “What the heck is Amendment A?”
Call the Salt Lake County Clerk’s office at (385) 468-7400 with any voting questions or ballot issues.
