Think of this as your Hey Salt Lake community bulletin board: a dedicated space for volunteer opportunities, resources, fundraisers, and other ways to help your neighbors.

Art Imitates Life

Artist submissions are now open for “Wake the Great Salt Lake,” a project aiming to bring awareness to the lake’s issues through temporary public art. Individual artists can receive between $5,000 and $10,000, while organizations can receive between $10,000 and $50,000. Submissions are open until April 18.

Winter Sport Training

Wasatch Adaptive Sports is looking for volunteers to assist with its winter training programs through April, which include skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing. Perfect volunteer opportunity for winter sports lovers.

Air Quality Monitoring

Get up-to-date air quality information from the Utah Department of Environmental Quality. You can toggle between counties, learn more about the air quality index, and browse through a slew of resources.

Help Grow Native Plants

Salt Lake City Public Lands has volunteer opportunities dedicated to native plant propagation efforts around town.
