Think of this as your Hey Salt Lake community bulletin board: a dedicated space for volunteer opportunities, resources, fundraisers, and other ways to help your neighbors.

Utah Pollinator Habitat Program

Help our local pollinators (bees, butterflies, hummingbirds) and get free plants through the Utah Pollinator Habitat Program. To participate, you’ll need a minimum of 900 square feet of space and be able to commit to a three-year follow-up. Submit your application by Monday, April 15.

Hard-To-Recycle

There’s another hard-to-recycle event happening on Saturday, April 20, at the Hogle Zoo. The Utah Recycling Alliance will be in the North parking lot from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. to collect things like batteries, electronics, bed linens, and carpet padding.

Life in Park City

Utah State University is conducting a Utah wellbeing survey for residents of Park City. They’re collecting info to see how life conditions vary across cities and towns across the state, and how that affects overall wellbeing. The survey is open through Tuesday, April 30.
