Here’s your weekly roundup of ways to get involved this month.

Teen Dating Violence

February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. The Rape Recovery Center is hosting events all month long, including a teen consent workshop on Saturday, Feb. 10 from 1-2:30 p.m. Participants will learn from youth leaders on how to ask for, give, deny, or revoke consent.

Immigrant Day on the Hill

This family-friendly afternoon on Tuesday, Feb. 13 will celebrate immigrants in Utah. There will be food, activities, and resources on civic engagement and learning. Be sure to RSVP!

Breaking Bread

Help Pik2ar (Pacific Island Knowledge 2 Action Resources) prepare and share a meal with our unhoused community on Saturday, Feb. 17 at Pioneer Park. They’ll also be accepting donations of socks, gloves, coats, and blankets in good condition.
